Taco Salad
This is a great QUICK recipe that you can use with ground beef, ground turkey, or make it vegetarian with ground meat substitute. Just chop up some veggies, cook the meat, throw everything into a bowl and you’ll have a yummy dinner on the table in 15 minutes or less! #TacoTuesday
Ingredients
- 1 lb organic ground beef
- 2 tbl chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp smoked chipotle
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1 head Romaine lettuce chopped
- 1 diced Tomato
- 1 diced carrot
- 2 chopped Green onions
- 1/4 sliced Red onion
- 1 cup Organic corn
- 1/2 sliced orange bell pepper
- 1 Avocado (Optional)
- 1 handful Fresh Cilantro (Optional)
- Shredded Mexican cheese (Optional)
Instructions
- Add ground beef to a sauté pan over medium heat, add seasonings and cook until done.
- Divide lettuce evenly into two bowls. Layer in veggies, add ground beef, then top with option add-ons and enjoy!
