Turkey Lasagna Bowl
I came up with this recipe the other night when I wanted to make my yummy zucchini noodle lasagna (featured in my cookbook if you want the recipe) but it got too late.I needed dinner on the table super quick and this recipe did the trick!
Ingredients
- 2 tsp avocado oil
- 1/2 chopped red onion
- 1 sliced carrot
- 2 chopped zucchini
- 1 lb ground organic turkey
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
- 15 oz organic tomato sauce
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 8 oz organic ricotta cheese
- Mozzarella for topping
Instructions
- Sauté onions and carrots in a pan over medium heat with avocado oil for 5 minutes. Next add zucchini, and turkey. Cook for another 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in garlic, seasoning, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes or until all veggies are soft. Next, mix in ricotta cheese. Spoon into bowls and top with a little mozzarella and enjoy!!
